ImageVan Buren Conservation District presents Farming For The Future conference with speaker Gary Zimmer: "Biological Farming: How to Make It Work For Your Farm"

The 2019 "Farming for the Future" conference welcomes keynote speaker Gary Zimmer presenting "Biological Farming: How to make it work for your farm," with other topics/speakers, including biological farming and soil health; carbon based fertilizers; transition to organic; new sprayer technology for specialty crops (Mark Ledebuhr); preventing ag's next SWD; one farm's journey to soil health; and Can I farm here? Wetland rules and regulations.

Soil health as the building block on which all other ag ventures (plant health and production quality) are based, as well as Sap analysis, water quality, and sprayer technology (electrostatic and proptec/curtec type spraying), are crucial to our industry now and in the future.

Beneficial to ALL AREA GROWERS (including Berrien and Allegan counties), and it is free, with lunch provided. REGISTER HERE: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/farming-for-the-future-2019-tickets-53970830206
